Simple wellness habits for busy women in business

The role of women in the modern business world, I can say, is becoming more and more important. We have more women entrepreneurs ,leaders and experts in various fields. Their business is bringing more success .Their decisions and ways of thinking and decision-making bring changes from day to day. In addition to all that, they are still exposed to various challenges-problems at work, as well as problems in balancing between private and business life. That’s why I decided to research what women entrepreneurs can do to improve their lives and balance them with work.

What are healthy habits and how do they affect business life?

Healthy habits are a reflection of our lives. They are not only related to the physical, but also to the mental health of all of as. This is precisely what affects a women’s success in one way, because when physical and mental health are in balance, a women is better able to cope with all challenges, is more productive and makes better decisions.

Healthy habits can include healthy eating and training first of all, but also positive thoughts, stress management, better quality sleep… Unfortunately, it often happens that women in business neglect their health, due to lack of free time, overloaded with work and the desire to achieve all set goals. In this text, i will explain how important it is to take care of yourself,as well as what are the steps to healthy habits for managing the balance between health and work.

It is important to start with small habits that will really lead to changes. First of all, it is important to create morning routine. People often say that the way our day starts, the rest of it will be like that, so it is important to start. It is individual for everyone what they will do first, but it would be great if women had their own skin care routine that they would adhere to and do every morning.

Physical activity early in the morning would be ideal, so it could be training in the gym, morning walking, and if someone still prefers something lighter, some stretching, yoga, and even meditation will mean a lot.

We often see recommendations for keeping daily journal on social network, and indeed they can often help us plan our day and stay productive and fulfill all our obligations. The next very important thing to start the day with is healthy meals and hydration. Healthy meals, rich in fiber, proteins and healthy fats, help to maintain a stable level of energy during the day, prevent drops in energy and concentration. Sometimes it is not easy to stick to a healthy diet, because women are sometimes not able to cook or buy something healthy, so it is advisable to prepare food in advance or have meal plans.

It does not matter whether women go to the gym or have a particular sport that they like, it is important that they are always in motion and have some form of physical activity. Training releases the hormone of happiness, which leads to an improvement in mood, reduction of stress, anxiety and nervousness.

In addition to the fact that it is important to stay in motion and be active, it is important to set aside time for a break and rest. Rest is key to renewing energy and concentration. Rest can be different for everyone. Someone likes to lie down, watch series, for someone rest is a walk, for someone time with family, for someone relaxation in complete silence. Along with rest it comes quality sleep. Women who do not sleep properly often face a decrease in productivity, moodiness and increased stress. Setting a sleep schedule, when you go to the bed and when you get up, can significantly improve your energy level and focus during the day. It is recommended to avoid screens and technology for at least an hour, but it would be ideal two hours before going to bed, so that the brain relaxes and prepares for sleep.

When we have determined what these key habits are, the question is how can women who are in business integrate them into their daily lives?

Dealing whit everyday business problems often makes it difficult to introduce healthy habits, but organization is the key. The most important step is setting realistic goals. As I already mentioned, you should start with small changes because small goals can quickly become routine, and in a few weeks, you will see big results. Effective organization, planning the day in advance can help significantly. Any support in introducing changes is welcome, which is why colleagues, family and friends are expected.

One of the most excellent examples of true motivation is Michelle Obama, who is known for promoting physical activity and healthy eating, not only in her life, but also through various initiatives aimed at the health and well-being of young people. Her daily routine includes physical activity, such as running and yoga, as well as preparing healthy meals. Through its initiative ‘’Let’s Move!’’, it promotes health and physical activity, initiating social changes based on healthy habits. Her life example inspires many women to find time for health in their busy schedules.

In the modern business world, where women recognize their potential in business, it is important not to neglect themselves and their health. Introducing simple but important habits will significantly improve the quality of life, productivity and success. At first glance, it is difficult to introduce changes, create routines, set realistic goals, but over time they become part of everyday life.
